Children are grouped by age. The three-year-olds meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the four-year-olds meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. There is an option for extended day until 3:00 pm each day except Tuesdays. Maximum enrollment for each class is seventeen children. There are two full time teachers and one parent teacher working with the children each day.

Garden Nursery School is in session September through June. Vacations and holidays follow the Cambridge Public School calendar.
